The Taking of Beverly Hills is a 1991 action film directed by Sidney J. Furie and starring Ken Wahl as David "Boomer" Hayes, a professional football quarterback who unexpectedly finds himself the only one who can prevent the widespread robbery of the city of Beverly Hills during a supposed gas leak.
