''Receiver'' is a first-person shooter video game developed by Wolfire Games that attempts to emulate real gun handling. Bullets need to be inserted into magazines in order for guns to be reloaded, and bullets also have realistic physics when fired. Every element of the guns included is handled through different presses, such as cocking the hammer, pulling back the slide, and toggling the safety.

Set in a randomly spawning set of rooms, the player must collect 11 cassette tapes as well as survive various sentry guns and flying taser bots that get more numerous as you collect more tapes.
