Can anyone help identify the Scottish police submachine gun? --Pandolfini 06:28, 28 April 2012 (CDT)
Well the barrel ,the magazine clip, and the muzzle looks like an MP40's.
--Mr.Ice
That is some weird MP. At various policemen he changes. In addition, different than a typical connection mainly MP40. A such a big transition - a thick cylinder. Perhaps it will be rather modified FBP!--Pandolfini 10:53, 29 April 2012 (CDT)
Or maybe both of them are in the movie. --Mr.Ice
And yeah, it not occurred to me. But was for me is rather strange, that barrel is like the MP40, but the trunk is different ... as FBP. If it was not, so I MP40 diagnosed early on, but this is a strange weapon.--Pandolfini 15:11, 29 April 2012 (CDT)
How about a Hotchkiss "Type Universal"? --Funkychinaman 21:10, 29 April 2012 (CDT)
That in the picture below really looks like him!--Pandolfini 05:39, 30 April 2012 (CDT)
This SMG has a distinctive Thompson features. Note how close pistol grip and magazine well are to each other, also note the rear sight that looks like M1A1. It can be a real Thompson with custom short barrel or some low-cost version like Spitfire Carbine, also converted. Greg-Z (talk) 03:11, 26 October 2014 (EDT)
