Agony (original title Agoniya, also released as Rasputin and Agony: The Life and Death of Rasputin) is a Soviet drama movie directed by Elem Klimov (Come and See). It depicts the life of Russian Emperor Nicholas II and his family in 1916 and the assassination of Grigori Rasputin. The movie was filmed in 1974 but never released until 1981 when it was released in USA and France; in USSR it was released only in 1985.
