CZ 247 was designed in late 1940s by Česká zbrojovka. It was intended for Czechoslovak army but failed the tests. Several thousands were sold in some African and South American countries. A version in 7.62x25 mm caliber was also created under the name CZ 347 but it wasn't manufactured serially.
