The S&W Model 36 may be the larger Model 10 as it has what appear to be the larger K frame square bottom target stocks. I don't think J frame target stocks came out until the early 70s, and I don't see why a movie armourer would waste time doing something that wouldn't work, especially when the plot only call for the gun to taken away from Helm.
