The Fugitives (original title Les fugitifs) is a 1986 French criminal comedy directed by Francis Veber and starring Pierre Richard and Gérard Depardieu. This film continues a series of Veber's movies with comedy duo Richard-Depardieu, which began with The Goat (La chèvre) (1981). Les fugitifs was later remade by Veber in 1989 as the American film Three Fugitives, starring Martin Short and Nick Nolte.
The following weapons were used in the film The Fugitives:
Handguns
Manurhin F1
Comissioneer Duroc's assistant (Philippe Lelièvre) is armed with a Manurhin F1 revolver.
Manurhin MR-73
Various detectives and policemen carry Manurhin MR-73 revolvers in several versions.
In the scene in orphanage the policewoman (Yveline Ailhaud) is armed with a snub nose revolver that appears to be an MR-73 with 2.5" barrel. After she drops it, Pignon (Pierre Richard) takes the revolver.
Colt Python
A Colt Python is carried by Labib (Jean Benguigui).
Smith & Wesson Model 36
During the bank robbery one of the clerks tries to pull out a revolver from the drawer. It is a snub nose 5-shot revolver so Smith & Wesson Model 36 seems a reasonable guess.
Colt Commander
During the bank robbery François Pignon (Pierre Richard) is armed with a Colt Commander. Later this pistol passes to Lucas (Gérard Depardieu).
Submachine Guns
MAT-49
MAT-49 SMGs are seen in hands of police in several scenes.
Rifles
MAS-36
MAS-36 and MAS-36/51 rifles are seen in hands of police during the bank robbery.
Ruger Mini-14
Several policemen are armed with Ruger Mini-14 carbines.
Ruger AC556
Several policemen are armed with Ruger AC556 carbines.
Berthier Mle 1916 Carbine
A Berthier Mle 1916 carbine is seen in hands of a policeman.
SIG Sniper Rifle
In the bank robbery scene several police snipers are armed with rifles that appear to be semi auto guns with 20 or 30 round magazines. The position of charging handle and gas tube above the barrel allow to guess that they are SIG/SIG-Mahurhin rifles.
Other Weapons
Mk 2 Hand Grenade
During the bank robbery François Pignon (Pierre Richard) is armed with a Mk 2 hand grenade in addition to his Colt Commander pistol.
Tromblon Mle F3 Smoke Grenade Launcher
Tromblon Mle F3 smoke grenade launchers are seen mounted on MAS-36 rifles.
