Latest revision as of 03:11, 4 December 2015
The following weapons were used in the film Barb Wire:
Handguns
Desert Eagle .357
Two-tone .357 Desert Eagle pistol is seen in the hands of Barbara "Barb Wire" Kopetski (Pamela Anderson). The pistols are also seen used by thugs and killers in the film as well.
These two-tone .357 Desert Eagles were custom built for Barb Wire by Ellis Mercantile. The receiver is polished stainless steel and the slide and barrel are blued. Only two were built for Pamela Anderson to use on the show. - Phoenixent
Glock 19
A 2nd Generation Glock 19 is hidden in Kreb's Night drawer. Barb is seen using a Glock 19 during a shootout.
SIG-Sauer P228 (Custom)
Also among the weapons used by Barb Wire is a custom two-tone SIG-Sauer P228 with Wilcox UITC laser sight that had previously been used in the 1995 film Virtuosity. This gun was converted by Ellis Props & Graphics (who supplied the weapons for both Virtuosity and this film). Alexander Willis (Xander Berkeley) also uses the pistol.
SIG-Sauer P226
A gunman uses what appears to be a suppressed SIG-Sauer P226 while chasing down Barb Wire.
Beretta 92SB
Colonel Pryzer (Steve Railsback) uses a Beretta 92SB in the film.
Beretta 92FS
One of the weapons Barb is seen loading up in the van is a Beretta 92FS.
M1911A1
Axel Hood (Temuera Morrison) is seen carrying a custom M1911A1 pistol with what appears to be a (early made "Laser Products") Surefire 310R weaponlight accessory. The pistol appears to be very similar to the ones seen in the film Speed.
Smith & Wesson 5904
In one scene, Axel's M1911A1 appears to turn into a Smith & Wesson 5904.
Rifles
M16A1 with A2 Handguards
M16A1 rifles fitted with A2 handguards are used by the Congressional soldiers and SHPD officers.
MGC M16 Replica Rifles
In scenes when the rifle is not fired, MGC M16 rifles with A2 style handguards and A1 Birdcages attached are carried by Congressional soldiers. They also have 30 round magazines rather 'sloppily' crammed into the magazine well (the MGC guns have a proprietary magazine and the mag well doesn't take STANAG magazines without modification).
AK-47
During a meeting, several members of both Big Fatso's and Spike's gang are seen with AK variants.
Muzzelite MZ14 Bullpup/Ruger AC-556
The Ruger MZ14 Bullpup is seen in the cache of weapons of the van and when Barb drops her weapons.
Submachine Guns
Uzi
Full size Uzi's are seen in the hands of Barb Wire and Axel Hood (Temuera Morrison) as well as gang members and Congressionals.
Heckler & Koch SP89
A Heckler & Koch SP89 is seen used in full auto mode (conversion) by a thug in the motel.
Heckler & Koch SP89 (mocked up as MP5K)
When Barb is forced to give up her weapons during a confrontation at the junkyard, one of the weapons seen is a nickel plated Heckler & Koch SP89 made to look like an MP5K by adding the MP5K foregrip. It can be noted as an SP89 instead of an MP5K due to the lack of a paddle magazine release behind the magazine and lack of a push-pin lower receiver. This appears to be the same converted custom SP89 seen in the 1994 film Speed.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
During a confrontation with Big Fatso's gang, Barb is seen with an authentic Heckler & Koch MP5A3 that is fitted with a slimline handguard.
Heckler & Koch HK94A3 (chopped and converted)
A guard at the club is seen carrying a Heckler & Koch HK94A3 collapsing stock civilian guns with 16" barrels chopped and converted to resemble an MP5A3 with a Surefire light dedicated forend. The HK94 is likely the same one seen in such films as Speed, Die Hard, and Air Force One.
Shotguns
Mossberg 500 Cruiser
The Mossberg 500 Cruiser is seen used by thugs and members of Big Fatso's gang. Some of these shotguns appear to be prop replicas.
Mossberg 500 Bullpup (Modified)
Congressional Directorate soldiers as well as officers of the Steel Harbor Police Department carry what appears to be the bullpup variant of the Mossberg 500. This variant also is seen in Barb Wire's weapons cabinet.
SWD/Cobray Street Sweeper
The SWD/Cobray Street Sweeper is used by Congressional Directorate soldiers.
Armories and Weapons Cache
Night Club Gun Check room
The Hammerhead, Barb's nightclub, has a gun check room which features a plethora of weapons. The denizens of Steel Harbor seem to favor several guns over all others. They usually carry M16s, Uzis, Desert Eagles or Mossberg 500 Shotguns.
Barb Wire Disarmed
When Barb is surrounded by the police, she is told to 'drop her weapons'. She ends up creating this impossible pile of weapons and bandoleers at her feet.
Barb Wire's Office Armory
Barb Wire also is seen going to her office armory of wepaons which include the following: a pair of custom two-tone .357 Desert Eagles built for Barb Wire. A pair SIG-Sauer 228 used in the film Virtuosity. The satin nickel MP5K (SP89 sear gun) used in the film Speed. A Glock 17, Beretta 92F, Browning Hi Power, Mossberg 500, Mossberg 500 Bullpup, Ruger Mini-14 Bullpup, MP5A3 (HK94 sear gun), and a MGC Replica AK47 - Phoenixent
