GunCrazy is a 1992 crime drama directed by Tamra Davis. It is a loose remake of the Gun Crazy film (1950).
The following weapons were used in the film GunCrazy:
Handguns
Smith & Wesson Model 686
Anita Minteer (Drew Barrymore) buys a Smith & Wesson Model 686 revolver and practices with it when she learns her convict pen pal likes to shoot guns so she can share a common interest. She uses it throughout the film as her weapon of choice for several crimes. Howard (James LeGros) also uses it in the film's finale scene.
Colt Single Action Army
In her dreams Anita holds a nickel plated Single Action Army revolver with ivory grips.
Smith & Wesson Model 64
Various police officers carry Smith & Wesson Model 64 revolvers.
Unidentified revolvers
Various police officers carry unidentified revolvers. Possibly these are some Colt models.
M1911A1
Anita presents an M1911A1 pistol to Howard (James LeGros). She tells Howard that the pistol is chambered for 9mm as it's Howard's favored caliber, but the screen gun seems to be a standard .45 rather than 9 mm. Howard then uses it throughout the film. In the final scene several Fresno PD officers also carry 1911s.
Shotguns
Winchester Model 1912
Winchester Model 1912 shotguns are seen in several scenes.
Mossberg 500
Fresno PD officers use Mossberg 500 shotguns in the final scene.
Other Weapons
Smith & Wesson 276 Gas Gun
A Smith & Wesson 276 Gas Gun is used by a Fresno PD officer in the final scene.
