Sven-Ole Thorsen was born in Copenhagen, Denmark and quickly found fame as a champion body builder and karate black belt. He became friends with fellow bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger during the filming of Conan the Barbarian (1983) and ultimately made the permanent move to Los Angeles, California in 1985. As happens with other bodybuilder friends of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Thorsen ended up appearing in many of Arnold's films as well as several other big budget action films.
