Avalon is a 2001 Polish language science-fiction film focuses on players involved in an illegal virtual-reality war game called "Avalon". The film is a Polish/Japanese co-production (filmed in Poland with an entirely Polish cast) and is directed by Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell, The Red Spectacles and Assault Girls).

Walther P38
The "banker" at the underground Avalon arcade keeps a Walther P38 pistol hidden in the till.

Bishop (Dariusz Biskupski) carries a Mauser C96 fitted with a buttstock holster while in Avalon.
