The Guyver (1991)

The Guyver is a 1991 live-action adaptation of the 1985 manga series Bio-Booster Armor Guyver. The film received praise for its special effects and costumes, but was negatively received overall. It was followed by a much better received sequel; Guyver: Dark Hero.

The following weapons were used in the movie The Guyver:

Smith & Wesson Model 36

One of the back alley thugs tries to kill the Guyver with a Smith & Wesson Model 36 revolver. The weapon's .38 caliber bullets prove to be worthless against the alien power armor.

Taurus PT99

During his fight with the Zoanoids, Reed fires his Beretta 92F at a charging Zoanoid. As he fires, the camera focuses on his weapon, which changes to a Taurus PT99 with some sort of blank-fire device attached to the muzzle.
