aZMD AKM
The Russian on the side of the airburst modules seems to be fairly functional. My guess is that it's called the aZMD (or, really аМЗД), based off the Cyrillic on the side of the sight. The module hooked to the magazine released reads "задать ДИСТ" or "Specify remote". I'm not sure what the button nearest the magazine says, but I'm guess it's "рожим" or rozhim, but I really think it's "размах" or range, which would fit if it's for an airburst unit. --Blitzen (talk) 20:57, 12 August 2013 (EDT)
:As a native Cyrillic reader my self I'm more inclined to say that it is вМЗД. It's probably supposed to be an acronym for the name of the top mounted air-burst computer module. As much as "размах" makes sense, it looks much more like "режим" (mode or regime) to me. Word "рожим" isn't familiar to me, so I'm opting that it's probably not it. "Задать дист." certainly stands for "задать дистанция" or 'set distance'. I can also make out inscription on the computer module over the gas block. It reads "Автомат Калашникова" but it's followed up by something indecipherable from the current screenshots. Hope this helps somewhat and hope we get better pictures of that prop soon. --BeloglaviSup (talk) 05:40, 13 August 2013 (EDT)
::Yeah, you're probably going to be better at this than I am. I assumed that the AZMD/BZMD was an acronym, but thanks for clearing up some of the other stuff, especially the "режим" button. "Mode" makes a bit more sense, because "размах" seemed to long.

Taser Carbine
I'm not sure if this is the place for it, but apparently Media Rights Captial is putting some stuff up for auction, including both a resin and rubber pistol used by Josh Blacker (Crowe) and a Taser Carbine, that is said to have been screen-used, but I can't remember where. The auction site says no specific character information was given, so I assume it was used by an extra in some of the Homeland Security bunker scenes.

Since we're bringing up that, these also popped up on the Elysium auction. They claimed their screen used but I can not recall what scenes they're in. The first is a gold-painted pistol supposedly used by John Carlyle and the other is an olive-drab Chemrail rifle, covered with camo tape, that was supposedly used by Drake (Brandon Auret). Of interesting note, the auction mentions that Drake's rifle is a functional prop, with a battery-operated sight display and reciprocating barrel, so that means it had to have been used on screen (or cut footage) at some point.--Blitzen (talk) 23:17, 25 August 2013 (EDT)

Nope. The Zoraki has a very sharp nearly 90 degree grip angle, and it has an ejection port on it, and they are smaller than these. These probably held revolvers inside them. They were shells. Granted, the Zoraki 925 is just a shell around a Zoraki 914, but these were made for the production. The shells, and the solid rubber stunt copies were auctioned off after the movie wrapped. Latest revision as of 06:33, 25 May 2020

The second gun looks like CGI, which it probably is, the third just looks like a prop, looks a bit like scar, but the magazine seems a bit far and I see no reason why they would put a gun underneath the shell if the magazine is not there, besides it doesn't shoot bullets so no point in a working gun.

The last gun in the unknown 1 section looks a bit like a TDI Vector, but I could just be imagining angles. I would assume the Chemrail is a prop built for the movie and doesn't really function, but then again stranger things have happened (the shockingly functional Zorg Pod weapon from the Fifth Element). -Jerkyman45

Is the ChemRail a DSR50 or based off of it? It kinda looks like there's a spare magazine in the frame of the stock. --DeltaOne (talk) 07:31, 16 July 2013 (EDT)

I think Unknown for is this:http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2009/01/19/knights-armament-chain-saw/

I don't think it is exactly, but it's definitely based off of it. You get a nice shot of it during the film, the fire control unit looks to be much bulkier than the KAC ChainSAW, so it's likely a custom conversion done by the film armorers. I do think the weapon is a M249 or Minimi SAW, but would need to see the film or that scene again to make sure. --Blitzen (talk) 22:13, 11 August 2013 (EDT)
Yeah, the gun isn't a Minimi variant. Can't figure out what it is though, it's got the M249 belt box. The rebel with Frey and Matilda at the end has a well-worn R4, and there's what look to be Colt M933s or Mk.18s with suppressors in Spyder's command center. --Mandolin (talk) 11:16, 12 August 2013 (EDT)
Second thought, I think it is. I'm marking it as so on the main page until the DVD/Blu-ray comes out to show otherwise.--Mandolin (talk) 11:39, 12 August 2013 (EDT)

Towards the end of the film, one of Spider's men is carrying a QBZ carbine (that distinctive flash hider can be seen). I couldn't see whether it was a 95 or 97, but 97 I think is more likely. I believe he's the one that gets killed by that explosive throwing star.Korium9 (talk)

Yeah, probably a 97. "It's only a flesh wound" BOOM --Mandolin (talk) 11:16, 12 August 2013 (EDT)
I haven't seen this film, YET, but I was just wondering; does Agent Kruger use a firearm of any kind in this film, or does he go by his ninja sword and exploding ninja stars? --Warejaws (talk) 11:35, 12 August 2013 (EDT)
Well he uses the quad missile launcher, but i don't remember any others off the top off my head. Said missile launcher's rounds are going 518m/s, BTW. Oh, and he uses a shield that takes the equivalent of two dozen M203 rounds before failing. He also BBQs with his katana.--Mandolin (talk) 12:41, 12 August 2013 (EDT)

The unknown 4 is a SAW variant I think its specifically modified from this http://i817.photobucket.com/albums/zz92/shaunr_2009/WTF.jpg --Iceman (talk) 12:33, 12 August 2013 (EDT)

Interesting enough, somewhat similar muzzle design has already appeared in Aaron Back's earlier pieces. Side mounted trigger group heavily reminds me of PAW-20 which was probably influential during design of this weapon. --BeloglaviSup (talk) 15:01, 12 August 2013 (EDT)
