Last Resort was an American television series that focused on the crew of the US Navy nuclear ballistic submarine Colorado, who found themselves marked for destruction by their government after refusing to carry out a suspect order to launch their missiles upon the country of Pakistan. The captain of the Colorado then decides to take over a small tropical island and its inhabitants and tells the world that the missiles will be launched if anyone on the outside attempts to make a move against them. The series was co-created by Shawn Ryan, who also was responsible for such series as The Shield and The Unit, and the cast included Andre Braugher, Scott Speedman, Robert Patrick, and Bruce Davison. The series aired in the United States on the ABC network for 13 episodes from 2012 to 2013.
The following weapons were used in the series Last Resort:
Pistols
Beretta 92FS
The Beretta 92FS is the sidearm of choice for the crew of the USS Colorado (SSBN-753) including LT Grace Shepard (Daisy Betts), standing in for the US military-issue M9. Also used by US Marines acting in a VIP protection detail, standing in for the M9A1. Christine Kendral gets a 92FS from a bedroom drawer after hearing noises from the house in "Skeleton Crew".
