:This is one of the strangest looking guns I have ever seen looking for an ID. However from the distinctive look of the right side charging handle and the bolt hrough the ejection port, I am fairly sure it is a Heckler & Koch Model 770: However I think it has been subjected to a lot of hacking to "modernise" it for TV. Firstly there is the Choate stock which has had to be hacked to make it fit as I am fairly sure they never made one for this rifle. secondly the trigger guard is different. Thirdly it has been fitted with an extended magazine (I think) as the only one sI have ever seen are either flush fit or only down to the bottom of the trigger guard. Lastly, it appears to be fitted with a barrel shroud with fake fluting and a suppressor, judging by the weld line at the front of the barrel taper. --commando552 (talk) 20:35, 24 June 2013 (EDT) | :This is one of the strangest looking guns I have ever seen looking for an ID. == Gun handling ==
Has anyone else noticed the drastic improvement in gun handling on this show during the last few seasons? Every year before season 5 had Michael showing a pretty bad teacup hold with poor trigger discipline but in season 5, he started used a really good thumbs forward grip with pretty good trigger discipline. I wonder what brought the change along because the shoddy gun skills on the show always irked me and I was pleasantly surprised to see the improvement michael's technique after 4 years.ShootingLiberal (talk) 13:00, 27 July 2013 (EDT)

==Strong's P226== | |||
In the second screenshot of Strong's P226, where you can see the muzzle, the bore diameter looks too big to be a 9mm to me. Possibly a .40 S&W P226? I can't say I've ever seen one of them in a film or TV show before. Usually SIGs are either 9mm P226s or .45 ACP P220s. --cool-breeze (talk) 08:33, 13 April 2014 (EDT)

Please help ID this rifle --Ben41 (talk) 02:15, 21 June 2013 (EDT)
- I'm not sure but this rifle resembles one of Templar Custom models, like this one. Greg-Z (talk) 02:39, 21 June 2013 (EDT)
- Don't think so, totally different rail system. Don't see enough of the rifle to work out if it is a production gun or just a custom job, but the rail system appears to be a Troy "TRX Extreme" or a derivative (don't know why part of it is cut away to expose the barrel nut though, might be an older version or something). It also appears to have an HK416 pistol grip, but it isn't an HK416 based on the lack of ambi markings, standard AR-15 barrel nut and the fact that you can't fit this handguard on a 416. --commando552 (talk) 20:59, 24 June 2013 (EDT)
Please help ID (Update)
Please help ID this rifle. It appears to be in Chaote Sniper stock, but has a box magazine. --Ben41 (talk) 16:14, 24 June 2013 (EDT)
