Poppies Are Also Flowers (also known as The Poppy Is Also a Flower, Danger Grows Wild and The Opium Connection) is a 1966 made for TV adventure movie directed by Terence Young and based on an idea by Ian Fleming. An international group of anti-narcotics agents struggles against drug traffic in the Middle East and Europe.
The following weapons are seen in the movie Poppies Are Also Flowers:
Revolvers
Smith & Wesson Military & Police Revolver
Smith & Wesson Military & Police revolvers are used in the opening scene by Benson (Stephen Boyd) and his men. Later M&P revolvers are carried by several of Colonel Salem's officers.
Pistols
Mauser 1910 Pocket Pistol
A Mauser 1910 Pocket Pistol is used by Linda Benson (Angie Dickinson) in the scene in Tehran hotel.
Colt Model 1903
A Colt Model 1903 is Coley Jones' (E.G. Marshall) personal weapon. In the scene in the Tehran hotel the pistol is taken from Jones by Linda Benson (Angie Dickinson). In the final scene Linda Benson holds the pistol herself and then returns it to Jones. Martin (Harold Sakata) also is armed with a Colt 1903.
MAB Model D Type II
In the final scene, Coley Jones (E.G. Marshall) uses a MAB Model D Type II pistol.
M1911A1
An M1911A1 is the personal weapon of Colonel Salem (Yul Brynner). Captain Vanderbilt's (Anthony Quayle) pistol is also supposed to be an M1911.
Submachine Guns
M1A1 Thompson
Several of Colonel Salem's soldiers carry M1A1 Thompson SMGs.
Unidentified SMGs
Several of Colonel Salem's soldiers carry submachine guns that aren't identified. Some ideas about them can be find on Discussion page.

Lee-Enfield rifle
During several scenes in the Iranian desert, Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III rifles are seen in the hands of various brigands.
At least one of Colonel Salem's men carries a rifle that looks like a Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk.I.
Unidentified sporterized rifle
During several scenes in the Iranian desert sporterized rifles, supposedly Mausers, are carried by various brigands and drug traders.
