Unidentified rifle

M1 Garands

I don't think the second picture in the M1 Garand section shows M1 Garands. The guy has a "Norway" shoulder tab, and I don't think we issued Garands to our allies during the war. --Funkychinaman (talk) 14:36, 18 May 2013 (EDT)

According to Wikipedia the US did send some Garands to Norway sometime before 1964. So its either post war footage or the rifle shown is something else (given what I think are finger grooves it could be M1903 Springfields instead).Mr.Ice (talk) 16:05, 19 May 2013 (EDT)
