This is listed under the Model 27/28 section, which is indeed the gun Ganz (Remar) uses before 'acquiring' Cate's (Nolte's) Model 29, but this revolver most certainly does not appear big enough to be an N-frame. A Saturday Night Special is a term used by cops to describe a cheap little snub gun, usually a revolver. In films, they sometimes screw up this term. In Flashpoint for instance, he refers to the expensive, big Taurus Judge a a SNS. Hope this helps. - Gunmaster45

An SFPD Patrol Officer (Chris Mulkey) holds his S&W on Jack and Reggie.

This is listed under the Model 27/28 section, which is indeed the gun Ganz (Remar) uses before 'acquiring' Cate's (Nolte's) Model 29, but this revolver most certainly does not appear big enough to be an N-frame. Plus it also seems to have a non-shrouded ejector rod socket. That, plus the bull barrel, perhaps it's more likely some kind of K-frame, such as a Model 15 perhaps? Model 15 or 19, I can't tell if the ejector rod is shrouded.--Predator20 20:35, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
