Kill the Irishman (2011) is an American crime film chronicling the life of Irish-American union president turned Cleveland mob boss Danny Greene (Ray Stevenson), who became known for surviving several assassination attempts on his life throughout the 1960s and 1970s.
The following weapons were used in the film Kill the Irishman:
M1911A1
Joe Buka (Jeff Chase), a thug from the longshoremen's union, uses a suppressed M1911A1 when confronting Danny Greene in 1960. He wears a shoulder holster but keeps the pistol in his waistband when it is suppressed. An FBI agent is also seen with a holstered M1911A1 in 1964.
Colt Detective Special
Jerry Merke (Bob Gunton), the longshoremen's union president in 1960, reaches for a snubnose revolver resembling a third generation Colt Detective Special when Danny Greene (Ray Stevenson) slaps him around in his office. Danny then takes the revolver away from him.
Remington 870
Danny's men, Art Sneperger (Jason Butler Harner) and Billy McComber (Marcus Thomas), take Remington 870 shotguns when intimidating a nightclub owner in the late 1960s. Art Sneperger (Jason Butler Harner) takes a sawn-off Remington 870 across the street to intimidate the bikers in 1967.
Colt Mk IV Series 70
One of the biker thugs keeps a Colt Mk IV Series 70 in his waistband when Danny confronts them in 1967.
unidentified revolver
Danny (Ray Stevenson) takes a revolver, possibly a Ruger, from "Biker Bill" (Jimmy Doom) before their 1967 fight.
Colt Trooper Mark III
Mike Frato (Steven R. Schirripa) keeps a Colt Trooper Mark III in his home office desk, eventually taking it with him to confront Danny Greene in 1971.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
Danny Greene (Ray Stevenson) uses a 3"-barreled Smith & Wesson Model 10 to kill a potential assassin in 1971.
If you watch closely, it shows him pulling a snub nose revolver, possibly an S&W model 36, from an ankle holster when he's attacked by Frato.
Smith & Wesson Model 36 Snub
An undercover NYPD officer uses a Smith & Wesson Model 36 to bust a drug dealer in 1975.
Smith & Wesson Model 19 Snub
Billy McComber (Marcus Thomas) keeps a snubnose Smith & Wesson Model 19 as his personal sidearm.
unidentified rifle
Julius (Michael Brian Ogden), a young mob assassin, uses a scoped rifle to shoot at Danny while he works out.
Smith & Wesson Model 10 Snub
Danny Greene (Ray Stevenson) uses a snubnose Smith & Wesson Model 10 to defend himself through the latter half of the film, often kept in the rear waistband of his track suit.
Walther PPK
Ray Ferritto (Robert Davi), the mob hitman, uses a Walther PPK in 1977.
Winchester Model 1912
Billy McComber (Marcus Thomas) carries a sawn-off Winchester Model 1912 across the street to intimidate the bikers in 1967.
Lupara
Mike Frato (Steven R. Schirripa) takes a Lupara to intimidate the bikers in 1967. Ray Ferritto (Robert Davi) also uses one during his hits in 1977.
