Line of Sight: Vietnam is a tactical first-person/third-person shooter, squad-based video game, developed by nFusion and published by Atari exclusively for the PC. The game was released in North America on March 5, 2003.
The game is set during the Vietnam War, following the story of Private Chris Egan, a United States Army Special Forces ("Green Berets") soldier and his squad members, operating deep behind enemy lines.
The following weapons are featured in the video game Line of Sight: Vietnam:
Handguns
Colt M1911A1
The M1911A1 appears as the "1911A1 .45" in the game, and is the main sidearm of the U.S. Army Special Forces.
TT-33
The TT-33 appears as the "Tokarev Pistol" in the game, and is the main sidearm of the North Vietnamese Army and Viet Cong.
Shotguns
Remington 870 Field Gun
The Remington 870 Field Gun appears simply as the "Shotgun" in the game, and is used by the U.S. Army Special Forces.
Assault Rifles
Colt XM177E2 Carbine
The XM177E2 Carbine appears as the "CAR15" in the game, and is the main weapon of the U.S. Army Special Forces. It can be fired in both semi-auto and automatic fire. Also, it is incorrectly loaded with 30 rounds in a 20 round magazine.

The M21 is used by the U.S. Army Special Forces, and rarely by the Viet Cong. Another variant of the M21 with night vision scope, called the "M21 w/ Starlight", is given to the player in the night missions.
SVD Dragunov
The SVD Dragunov is used by both the North Vietnamese Army and Viet Cong.

The M60 appears as the "M60 LMG" in the game, and is used by the U.S. Army Special Forces.
RPD
The RPD appears as the "RPD LMG" in the game, and is used by both the North Vietnamese Army and Viet Cong.
Grenade Launchers
M79
The M79 appears as the "Grenade Launcher" in the game, and is used by the U.S. Army Special Forces.
Launchers
M72 LAW
The M72 LAW is used by the U.S. Army Special Forces. Since it is realistically depict as a disposable weapon; the player must carry more than one launcher for extra rockets, but for the cost of heavy weight.
RPG-7
The RPG-7 appears simply as the "RPG" in the game, as is used by both the North Vietnamese Army and Viet Cong.
Hand Grenades
F-1 Fragmentation Grenade
The F-1 hand grenade is unusable in the game, but featured as a booby trap used by the enemy.
M18 Smoke Grenade
The M18 Smoke Grenade appears simply as the "Smoke Grenade" in the game, and is used by the U.S. Army Special Forces.
M26 Fragmentation Grenade
The M26 hand grenade appears simply as the "Grenade" in the game, and is used by the U.S. Army Special Forces.

The M18A1 Claymore appears as the "Claymore Mine" in the game, and is used by the U.S. Army Special Forces.
Explosives
Demolition Charge
The demolition charge is used by the U.S. Army Special Forces. It can only be placed on weapon emplacements and vehicles, also has a timer that can be set from 10 seconds to 1 minute.
