Likely either Ops Core or Mich 2001 with ARC rails added, as if they were bought on a budget it's possible they purchased Chinese made replicas- where TC2001s with ARC rails are commonly available. == Bruce Willis's 1911 ==

Bruce Willis's 1911 can't be a 1911A1. There are no finger clearance cuts by the trigger and the slide appears to read "Model of 1911 US Army". They changed the designation from Model of 1911 to M1911 around the time the A1 version was adopted. It is probably supposed to be a 1911 that Patton carried in WWI that some jerk who got their hands on it later butchered with tacticool parts.

Unknown Glock

A woman in the trailer (not a G.I.) uses a Glock. I think it is a 3rd generation Glock 17, but I am not 100 % positive.--Coltmth 12:48, 29 January 2012 (CST)

SAW in the film - Is is a Daewoo?

Though the Rock is seen training with an M249, is that a Daewoo standing in for a real 249 in the screencaps? MoviePropMaster2008 23:23, 11 February 2012 (CST)

I think it is an M249, definitely has the M249 front sight. I'm fairly sure that they are the same weapon in the film and in the training, they both appear to be the current M249 as advertised by FN USA with the new style gas block (below). --commando552 03:39, 12 February 2012 (CST)
Error creating thumbnail: File missing
The Daewoo K3s are only used as M249 stand-ins by the armorers in British Columbia, and this movie was filmed mostly in Louisiana. Also, that gun seems to have a Minimi/M249-style gas tube and front sight, rather than K3 style. -MT2008 09:12, 12 February 2012 (CST)

Handheld .50 cal

I'm no expert, so I'm wondering if someone could tell me - is this the first film where someone has fired a Browning M2 handheld?--Leigh Burne 08:25, 24 February 2012 (CST)

It's the second. It was mentioned on the forum a while back that some other movie had a guy firing an M2 like that, but it was only available on VHS. Can't remember the name.--Mandolin 09:19, 24 February 2012 (CST)
OK, thanks. I know Sly was supposed to fire the M2 in Rambo (the fourth one) handheld, but obviously he didn't in the final film. Thanks for the help.--Leigh Burne 09:33, 24 February 2012 (CST)
Ok, found the thread. The movie was called Nemesis http://forum.imfdb.org/showthread.php?t=1811 Link to the trailer on the page.--Mandolin 20:18, 24 February 2012 (CST)

This is a homage to the comic book character that Dwayne Johnson plays in the film, as Roadblock in the comic books carried the M2 handheld as his weapon of choice. --Ben41 15:10, 24 February 2012 (CST)

Glock 21?

Error creating thumbnail: File missing

The barrel diameter of Dwayne Johnson's Glock pistol looks pretty wide in this shot. This could mean it is a G21 but I can't be sure.

That may indeed be a 21,but a photo can be misleading depending on lenses used, camera angles, etc. I am not sure the wholesale change of the the previously identified Glock 17s and 19s to the 21 is warranted yet(I sure can't tell for sure),however the Glocks on the table, one with a Surefire X300 sure look like 19s to me,based on the X300's length and the finger grooves(the middle one is wider on the 19). Tecolote

Bruce Willis's 1911

Bruce Willis's 1911 can't be a 1911A1. There are no finger clearance cuts by the trigger and the slide appears to read "Model of 1911 US Army". They changed the designation from Model of 1911 to M1911 around the time the A1 version was adopted. It is probably supposed to be a 1911 that Patton carried in WWI that some jerk who got their hands on it later butchered with tacticool parts.

The custom M1911. This one doesn't have them either. It also has the obsolete "Model Of 1911 US Army" marking on the slide.

Colt M1911A1 Pistol, Notice how this one has grooves cut right behind the trigger.

Additional 1911s

It seems that Bruce Willis' character carries an another one(or two) 1911s during the White House mission.

Sorry for pic size. I'm a noob who can't figure out resizing. Another pistol is in his shoulder holster.
