Human Target was a television action series that was based on a DC Comics character created by Len Wein and Carmine Infantino. Mark Valley starred as Christopher Chance, a unique security contractor whose unique way of protecting his clients was by completely integrating himself in their lives and thus himself becoming the target. The series aired for two seasons on FOX from 2010 to 2011 and co-starred Chi McBride and Jackie Earle Haley.
The following weapons were used in Season 1 of the television series Human Target:
Handguns
Walther P99
Walther P99 (Pre-2004)
Christopher Chance's (Mark Valley) sidearm in Season 1 is the Walther P99. In scenes in "Pilot" (S1E01) and "Christopher Chance" (S1E12), Chance's P99AS changes to a pre-2004 P99. In "Sanctuary" (S1E04), Sam Fisher (William Mapother) uses a Walther P99 during the monastery invasion. Frank Murphy uses Chance's P99 in "Run" (S1E05). A South American soldier surrenders his P99 to his CO in "Salvage and Reclamation". An animated P99 is also portrayed in the opening credits of the show.
Walther P99AS (Anti-Stress)
Occasionally throughout the series, Chance's standard P99 changes to a Walther P99AS. In "Pilot" (S1E01), Christopher Chance (Mark Valley) uses a Walther P99AS for most of the episode. In a scene in "Run" (S1E05), Chance's standard P99 changes to a P99AS. In the shootout between Chance and Baptiste during "Christopher Chance" (S1E12), Chance again uses the Walther P99AS. Judging by the extended barrel, silver recoil rod (in "Christopher Chance"), and lack of slide blowback, these are likely airsoft replicas (most likely made by Umarex).
Two-Tone
In 'Baptiste' and 'Christopher Chance', Baptiste (Lennie James) used a pre-2004 Walther P99 with a silver slide.
Walther PPK
An assassin uses a suppressed Walther PPK in "Rewind" (S1E02). An Air Marshal confiscates the PPK and attempts to use it on Winston. Peter Blanchard aka Raven (Alex Fernandez) uses a nickel PPK in "Embassy Row". Gerard had a Walther PPK in an ankle holster in the episode "Victoria". He then gave it to Chance, who used it for the rest of the episode.
Beretta 84
In "Embassy Row" (S1E03), Danny Cooper (Tyler McClendon) is seen holding a Beretta 84.
Beretta 92FS
In "Sanctuary" (S1E04), Sam Fisher (William Mapother) steals a prison guard's Beretta 92FS. In the same episode, John Gray uses a Beretta 92FS during the gondola fight. In "Run" (S1E05), renegade San Francisco Police Detectives under Wes Gibson are armed with the 92FS. SFPD officers are also seen using the 92FS in the same episode. Connor holds a suppressed 92FS on Chance and Victoria in "Victoria".
Beretta 92FS Inox
In "Rewind" (S1E02), one of Guerrero's men uses a Beretta 92FS Inox to intimidate the man who hired the assassins.
Beretta Cougar
The Beretta 8000 Cougar is Guerrero's (Jackie Earle Haley) main sidearm. One of Sam Fisher's henchman uses a Cougar to intimidate a monastery priest in "Sanctuary" (S1E04). Due to a continuity error in "Lockdown" (S1E06), Chance's P99 turns into a Beretta Cougar.
Desert Eagle
Joubert (Armand Assante) uses a chrome Desert Eagle in the "Christopher Chance".
FN Five-SeveN/USG
A thug under Hugh Prentiss in "Corner Man" takes aim at Chance with the FN Five-seveN USG. Hugh tries to take the pistol after thug is killed by Chance.
Glock 17
The Glock 17 is seen prominently used by law enforcement officers, FBI agents and henchmen in the season.
Glock 19
Gerard uses the Glock 19 as his main sidearm in "Victoria", gunning down two rogue Protection Command bodyguards before he was shot himself.
Heckler & Koch Mark 23
An assassin (Mike Desabrais) in "Pilot" (S1E01) uses a suppressed Heckler & Koch Mark 23 to attempt to kill Stephanie Dobbs (Tricia Helfer).
M1911A1
In "Victoria", a dream sequence showed assassins planting a used M1911A1 at the hands of Tony Sorrento after shooting him with the pistol, previously silenced, to frame him for being a murderer. The former Christopher Chance (Lee Majors) uses an M1911A1 to save Chance by wounding Baptiste in "Christopher Chance" before he was killed with a hurled ombat knife in the chest.
Makarov PM
The Makarov PM is the sidearm of Russian Embassy security forces in "Embassy Row" (S1E03). Raven aka Peter Blanchard (Alex Fernandez) disarms one of the guards and uses it to gun down the Chief of Security and some of the guards with him in the embassy's security room. In one shot, the Makarov changes to the similar Walther PPK.
SIG-Sauer P226
LaVerne Winston (Chi McBride) uses a SIG-Sauer P226 as his main sidearm throughout Season 1. Frank Murphy uses a P226 during a shootout with Wes Gibson and his men.
Unknown Pistol
An unknown pistol appears in the opening credits.
Unknown Pistol 2
A stewardess conceals an unknown pistol in "Rewind" (S1E02).
Revolvers
Smith and Wesson Model 629
In the Season 1 finale 'Christopher Chance', Chance uses a hidden Smith & Wesson Model 629 revolver to take out some commandos and then levels it at Joubert.
Submachine Guns
Beretta Cx4 Storm
Beretta Cx4 Storms are used by Sentronics' "Level 2" security officers, their chief of security Leonard Kreese (Mitch Pileggi), and briefly by Chance (Mark Valley) in "Lockdown" (S1E06). The Beretta Cx4 Storm carbines used in this episode are the same Cx4s that were used in the re-imagined series of Battlestar Galactica (note the muzzle).
[[
FN P90
FN P90s were used by the unknown commandos in "Christopher Chance". They were outfitted with lasers and flashlights.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
Numerous people use the Heckler & Koch MP5A3, either with RIS rails or a dedicated forend. One of Sam Fisher's crewmembers is armed with a HK MP5A3 during the monastery invasion in "Sanctuary" (S1E04). In "Run" (S1E05), Wes Gibson and one of his men ambush a District Attorney with MP5A3's. In "Christopher Chance", a commando is armed with a MP5 outfitted with a scope and a tactical foregrip attached to a railed barrel. Another commando has a MP5 outfitted with a UMP stock.
Heckler & Koch MP5K
The Heckler & Koch MP5K is seen in the hands of Victoria' rogue Protection Command bodyguards in "Victoria".
Heckler & Koch MP7A1
In "Embassy Row" (S1E03), some Spetsnaz operators use Heckler & Koch MP7's rather than the AKS-74U's. In "Sanctuary" (S1E04), a Sam Fisher crewman fires an MP7 during a robbery. The company men shooting at Chance and Jessica in "Tanarak" use Heckler & Koch MP7s.
Unknown MP5
In "Victoria", one of the assassin has a MP5-type submachine gun with its integral suppressor and a scope.
Shotguns
Remington 870
The Remington 870 is seen in several variations.
Standard
A standard Remington 870 is used briefly by Winston to shoot a commando in "Christopher Chance".
Folding Stock
A Sam Fisher crewman is armed with a Remington 870 Folding Stock in "Sanctuary" (S1E04) during a robbery.
Sawed-off Field Gun
Maria uses the sawed off Remington 870 Field Gun in "Salvage and Reclamation".
870P
A Remington 870P in black furniture is used brifly by a mercenary in "Tanarak" before Chance disarms him of it.
Short barreled Nickel plated Ithaca 37
In 'Christopher Chance', in the flashback, Chance finds a short barreled nickel plated Ithaca 37 in the bottom of a drawer.
Assault Rifles
AKS-74U
In "Embassy Row" (S1E03), Russian Spetsnaz operators on duty in the Russian Embassy use AKS-74U's.
Colt M16A4
A Colt M16A4 is seemingly used by South American soldiers in "Salvage and Reclamation". Also used by Paraguayan army in "The Return of Baptiste."
Colt M4A1
In "Pilot" (S1E01), Seattle SWAT teams are armed with the Colt M4A1 while responding to a hostage situation. Used by South American soldiers in "Salvage and Reclamation". They are also used by FBI Hostage Rescue Team assaulters in "Baptiste" after arresting him.
Norinco Type 56
In "Salvage and Reclamation", Doug Slocum is armed with it after Chance and Maria (Leonor Varela) bust out of the besieged bar from initially using the Type 84S. This has a bayonet lug, but without the bayonet. Chance is also seen holding one until he gives it to Maria at the end of the episode.
All of the Type 56 rifles seen in this episode are actually airsoft replicas made by Real Sword. They are replaced with the Type 84s in firing scenes for this reason.
Norinco Type 84
A Norinco Type 84 is used by Doug to distract the soldiers in "Salvage and Reclamation." This magically changes to the Type 56 later when Chance and Maria escape the bar.
SIG SG 552
San Francisco Police officers in "Run" are armed with the SIG SG 552, used to gun down a rigged ambulance trying to breach the blocked road. This rifle is, however, not being used by the actual SFPD.
Unknown AK-type rifles
Also seen with Pablo and with several mercenaries in "Salvage and Reclamation".
Bolt-Action Rifles
Karabiner 98k
A Karabiner 98k is seemingly used in "Salvage and Reclamation", used by one of Pablo's men.
Sniper Rifles
Barrett M107
A Barrett M107 is seen in the black room in "Lockdown" (S1E06). Chance disassembles it while waiting for an engineer to finish an electronic pulse cannon.
Remington 700
Guerrero finds a Remington 700 in the cab of a pickup when he and Winston are pinned down down by sniper fire in "Victoria".
Remington 700PSS
A SWAT sniper covers a hostage situation with a Remington 700PSS in "Pilot" (S1E01).
SIG Sauer SSG 3000
A FBI Hostage Rescue Team sniper is armed with the SIG Sauer SSG 3000 in "Baptiste".
Remington 7400
In "Pilot" (S1E01), Hollis, a fired firm employee, uses a Remington 7400 to take hostages at his former place of employment.
Grenade launchers
DefTech 37mm launcher
In "Pilot" (S1E01), a Seattle SWAT operator prepares a DefTech 37mm launcher during a hostage situation.
RPG-7
A RPG-7 is seen slung on the back of an armed mercenary in "Salvage and Reclamation".
