| I am a third-year criminal justice student with a three and one-half year (2009-present) background working for a not-for-profit organization as an Outdoor Recreation Program Assistant. As a student with an insatiable love for research, I have informally studied of a wide range of modern military small-arms and personal weapons. My knowledge of small-arms includes a basic understanding the geopolitical catalysts which brought about the development of automatic "assault" type rifles during the Cold War. I am also heavily involved in the custom/production knife scene as an interested collector. While this experience is not directly relevant to the mission of IMFDB, there is some limited overlap of technological developments and professional interests in both the knife and firearm industries.
