If you find a page that is blank or useless in some other way, don't re-direct it to somewhere else. There's no need for that - instead, please leave a message on my talk page (or that of any other IMFDB admin) and it will be deleted, as I just did to the "M1912" page. Please use "quotes" when creating a page for a fictional or fantasy firearm. A fictional firearm is usually a workable firearm (in theory) or something that can function as a real gun (or has a real gun inside) but that doesn't exist in standard chains of commerce in the real world. A Fantasy firearm is a prop that resembles some sort of weapon but is not based on any real gun nor functions using a real gun inside. We are trying to find a way to separate the fantasy/fictional guns from real world weapons. I know we have not created a rules list yet. Sorry about that, but with the preponderance of new members I will have to get on that ASAP. Thanks. [[User:MoviePropMaster2008|MoviePropMaster2008]] 17:53, 18 December 2008 (UTC) | |||

Too many members feel it's funny to be extremely sarcastic about actor's shooting stance, their blinking, their pistol grips. Only if it's so over the top as for the average person to notice, then don't keep on harping on it. Most actors are given only a bare amount of time to train, if at all. Many times the editor picks the worst take for pistol grip, but best take for other reasons like acting. Also much of the blame falls on the director. Some directors don't want to be bothered trying to train the actors and don't allow us armorers to even give them more training than the minimum safety training. People in the industry check out this website, and some think we're a bunch of obnoxious kids. I am not happy when people in 'the biz' look at the site and scoff at the snarky remarks. Some of them are the actual actors being insulted. We can always put in criticism, but IMFDB members going forward going to criticize a film, should try to do so in a scholarly manner or not at all. Thanks for your cooperation [[User:MoviePropMaster2008|MoviePropMaster2008]] 05:46, 4 October 2009 (UTC) |

I do not know what the rules are for this site but, I am reasonably sure, they do not involve someone creating a "new article" by lifting someone else's contribution word for word.
What do you mean? I was just adding to the links available.
I also fixed broken links and double redirects, I am not sure what you are talking about exactly. I was just trying to help imfdb.
Redirecting
Hi,
If you find a page that is blank or useless in some other way, don't re-direct it to somewhere else. There's no need for that - instead, please leave a message on my talk page (or that of any other IMFDB admin) and it will be deleted, as I just did to the "M1912" page. Thanks! -MT2008 18:26, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

Fictional firearms
Thanks. MoviePropMaster2008 17:53, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

(here is a note I've been posting around IMFDB) Too many members feel it's funny to be extremely sarcastic about actor's shooting stance, their blinking, their pistol grips.
