Murphy's Law is a 1986 action movie directed by J. Lee Thompson and starring Charles Bronson as LAPD detective Jack Murphy.
The following weapons are seen in the movie Murphy's Law:

Joan Freeman (Carrie Snodgress) carries her own Security Six but in one scene she uses Murphy's stolen revolver. Tony Vincenzo (Chris DeRose) carries a stainless steel Ruger Security Six with 4" barrel at the airport.
Smith & Wesson Model 36
Art Penney (Robert F. Lyons) carries the Smith & Wesson Model 36 revolver, and Ben Wilcove (Bill Henderson) gives Murphy (Charles Bronson) a S&W Model 36 later on.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
During the escape from the LAPD building Murphy (Charles Bronson) takes a Smith & Wesson Model 10 from a police officer (later in this scene the revolver switches to Colt Trooper). S&W Model 10 revolvers are also seen in hands of various police officers and airport security guards. In one scene Arabella McGee (Kathleen Wilhoite) is armed with a S&W Model 10 that was taken from Max (Tony Montero), one of Frank Vincenzo's bodyguards.
Colt Trooper
During the escape from the LAPD building Murphy (Charles Bronson) is seen with a Smith & Wesson Model 10 that later switches to Colt Trooper. Later Murphy is again seen with a Colt Trooper that he takes from Jack (David Hayman), one of Frank Vincenzo's bodyguards.

In the final scene Det. Ed Reineke (James Luisi) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 60 revolver.
