Angel Cop is a six part OVA from DAST Corporation and Studio 88. Comparable to Mad Bull 34, Angel Cop was one of Manga Entertainment UK's early 90's releases that became notorious for it's over-the-top violence, inconsistent animation quality, low-quality "punched-up" dub, and anti-American (anti-Semitic in the original Japanese dialogue) sentiments.
The following weapons were used in the OVA Angel Cop:
Handguns
Angel's Custom M1911
"Angel" uses a custom M1911 pistol with either a nickel or stainless steel finish, target sights, an ambidextrous safety, ported compensator, and grips that inexplicably extend over the lower part of the slide.
Colt Python
In the first episode, Raiden carries a Colt Python revolver.
Beretta 93R
Hacker carries a Beretta 93R as his primary weapon.
Smith & Wesson Model 37 Airweight
Kuwata occasionally uses a Smith & Wesson Model 37 Airweight revolver.
"Pre-B" CZ 75
Most members of the Red May organization carry "Pre-B" CZ 75 pistols.
Smith & Wesson Model 36 "Chiefs Special"
Taki carries a Smith & Wesson Model 36 "Chiefs Special" hidden under his coat.
Unidentified Pistols
Cybernetic Soldier Pistol
Dr. Ichihara offers Angel this fictional pistol in episode 3. It is described as having recoil harsh enough to break a normal person's arm after two shots, and appears to be built around a variant of the Beretta 92 pistol series.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5K
One Red May terrorist in episode 2 carries a Heckler & Koch MP5K submachine gun.
IMI Uzi
Some of the police officers (?) tasked with raiding the Special Security Force's headquarters use IMI Uzi submachine guns.
Ingram MAC-10
Peace uses a suppressed Ingram MAC-10 in episode 4.
Ingram MAC-11
Maisaka uses a Ingram MAC-11 with two magazines jungle-taped together. He mistakenly refers to it as an "Uzi machine pistol".
Rifles
AK-74
One of the Red May terrorists in episode one is armed with an AK-74.
AKS-47
Most of the Red May terrorists use AKS-47 rifles that are erroneously depicted as using the same magazine as the AK-74.
FAMAS F1
The Japanese police are seen using FAMAS F1 assault rifles. Why the Japanese police would use French rifles is anyone's guess.
Howa Type 64
The JGSDF Special Forces in episode 5 all carry Howa Type 64 rifles.
Colt Model 653
Angel uses a Colt Model 653 to fend off the JGSDF Special Forces in episode 5.
Colt Model 733
Maisaka's bodyguards carry Colt Model 733 carbines.
Shotguns
Sawed-Off Mossberg 500
One of the Red May terrorists in episode 2 uses a sawed-off Mossberg 500 shotgun.
Machine Guns
M60E3 Machine Gun
In episode 3, Hacker uses a M60E3 machine gun.
General Dynamics GAU-19/A
The attack helicopters in episode 3 are armed with General Dynamics GAU-19/A Gatling guns.
Browning M2HB
Several Browning M2HB machine guns are seen mounted on JGSDF APCs in episode 5.
Rocket Launchers
RPG-7
One of the Red May terrorists in episode 2 uses a RPG-7.
Carl Gustav recoilless rifle
Several Carl Gustav recoilless rifles (sans foregrip) make an appearance during the battle in episode 3.
FIM-92A Stinger
One JGSDF Special Forces soldier uses a FIM-92A Stinger.
Other Weapons
Mk 2 hand grenade
Several of the Red May terrorists in episode two carry Mk 2 hand grenades.
Unknown Automatic
Hacker is seen using a bizarre weapon that is something of a mashup between several different assault rifle and machine gun designs. The weapon is always stockless and outfitted with a sound suppressor and occasionally a brass catcher.
Unknown Sniper Rifle
Kuwata uses an unidentified (and poorly proportioned) sniper rifle in the first episode.
Cybernetics Weapons
In addition to the pistol given to Angel, Dr. Ichihara possesses several similar high-powered weapons that he presents to Raiden and Angel as the situation dictates.
