The stock on the gun belongs to a Galil, the Vektor has a larger piece of metal connecting the top and bottom of stock together and has an overall longer length. The receiver looks "odd" to me in that the fire selector, which is directly above the grip, only has two markings instead of three markings and the selector writing is in english instead of hebrew. I think the gun is most likely semi auto civilian model Galil that has since been modified with a shorter barrel. Dover500 (talk) 19:33, 8 September 2012 (EDT)
You are right, it's more Galil-like. The barrel is similar to this version of Galil SAR. In USA the Elite Firearms company produce various versions of semi auto Galils in 7.62x39 and .223. Greg-Z (talk) 07:58, 9 September 2012 (EDT)
