:I just looked a little deeper and you replaced this image on like 10 pages. You need to explain this immediately. There is NO reason to take a good image and replace it with one of such inferior quality. If you do not explain your actions, your editing privileges will be revoked. --Zackmann08 10:34, 24 August 2012 (CDT)

I have replaced the image in question with an actual one of a Model 1 First Series (the previous image was a Lowell Arms pocket revolver I think) and added ones for the second and third series, so every thing is fine now. You were right to want to replace it but in the future if  you spot a mistake like this it is a good idea to point it out on the talk page first so people know what you are doing. --commando552 11:17, 24 August 2012 (CDT)
:My apologies for being so harsh on you before. Commando pointed out to me that your edit was infact correct. That being said, you did go about it the wrong way. In the future, if you notice that an image that appears on so many pages is incorrect, please bring it to the attention of one of the Admins. When we see a user with a limited number of contributions on the site make a sweeping edit like this (particularly when the new image was of such inferior quality) it raises a LOT of red flags (there has been a lot of spam and just basic site destruction for sake of pissing people off done this way). It is clear now that you were attempting to do the right thing. I apologize again for jumping down your throat. --Zackmann08 11:56, 24 August 2012 (CDT)

If you look at the history of the image that you replaced, Swmod1.jpg, you'll see that the current image replaced an older image which appears to be identical to the one you just uploaded. Hi, if you're going to contest an identification by referring to a gun that isn't currently on the wiki, could you at least add a picture of the firearm in question to the film's talk page? Mind you, I'm inclined to agree with you since the Clerke First was (apparently) a notoriously-cheaply-made "Saturday Night Special," and Barris' revolver in the novel supposedly cost "30 dollars used" in USD, 1970s levels of inflation. It could be that the director asked the film's armourer to produce "the cheapest gun on hand" for Barris to use while filming, but we could still use some photos of the gun in question. --Mazryonh (talk) 01:36, 21 March 2014 (EDT)

Thanks for wanting to add screenshots for Fargo (TV Series).  Because you are doing this, it is best to rename your files with the Season and Episode number in addition to the weapon name.  For example, if you are uploading a screenshot for Season 1 Episode 2 of the series , you would name them "FargoS1E02 xxx.jpg".  You can either put numbers or weapon names in the x's. This will help you keep your screenshots organized.  Right now, it's not clear what episodes your screenshots are from. Please also refer to the IMFDB Screencapping Guide and the IMFDB Style Guide for more help on making pages. --Ben41 (talk) 23:01, 14 November 2015 (EST)
Thanks for the info man. I've got a few already uploaded without this but I'll do this for the rest.

Smith & Wesson Model 1

Why did you replace the good image for the Smith & Wesson Model 1 with a really crappy one? --Zackmann08 10:32, 24 August 2012 (CDT)

I just looked a little deeper and you replaced this image on like 10 pages. You need to explain this immediately. There is NO reason to take a good image and replace it with one of such inferior quality. If you do not explain your actions, your editing privileges will be revoked. --Zackmann08 10:34, 24 August 2012 (CDT)

My apologies for being so harsh on you before. Commando pointed out to me that your edit was infact correct. That being said, you did go about it the wrong way. If you look at the history of the image that you replaced, Swmod1.jpg, you'll see that the current image replaced an older image which appears to be identical to the one you just uploaded. Is there a reason why you think that should be reversed? --Funkychinaman 10:32, 24 August 2012 (CDT)

Thanks for wanting to add screenshots for Fargo (TV Series). Because you are doing this, it is best to rename your files with the Season and Episode number in addition to the weapon name.
