About Me

I was born in Seoul, South Korea, but moved to the United States at the age of 1. I became obsessed with firearms around the age of 15. I joined the Marine Corps right after high school, going to boot camp on August 29th, 2011. I graduated out of Parris Island, South Carolina on November 23rd 2011. I went through MCT right after boot camp and completed MOS school on April 25th 2012. I am now a licenced electrician in the Marine Corps serving a 2 year tour in Okinawa Japan. I currently own a Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm, a Kimber Warrior, a Colt AR15, a Remington 700 in .308, and a Mossberg 590 shotgun all im my safe at home. Too bad you can't own weapons in Okinawa. Semper Fidelis.

Favorite firearms

M16A4-The standard Marine Corps service rifle, can't go wrong with it, plus, I shot expert on the rifle rance with this weapon, iron sights.

HK416- Basically an M4A1, but more reliable. The weapon I would want in a combat zone.

Beretta M9- Accurate 9mm pistol with a 15 round magazine and very easy to field strip.

Colt M1911- A reliable handgun with an even better round. I own a Kimber Warrior, great pistol.

Smith and Wesson M&P- Sold my Glock 19 for a S&W M&P. In my opinion, it looks better and has a really solid trigger pull. If I don't have my Kimber laying around, I would trust my life with my M&P.

M1921 Thompson- Just a cool looking gun. If the Winchester 73 was "The Gun That Won The West" this was "The Gun That Won The Gangsters."

M1 Garand- As quoted by General George S Patton, it was "The greatest battle implement ever devised." 8 rounds of 30-06 in a semi-auto rifle. Watch out for the PING.

Remington M40/700- In my humble opinion, The best sniper rifle ever made. A version used by Chuck Mawhinney.

Winchester Model 70- The same as the Remington 700 and M40, but in 30-06. A version used by "White Feather" Carlos Hathcock.

Barrett M82A3 SASR- A great rifle for long distance. Able to stop almost anything on the modern battlefield with 10 rounds of semi-auto .50 caliber fire.

Springfield 1903- A rugged rifle for World War 1 and a good sniper weapon in World War 2. Perfect weapon for the "devil dogs"

M14- A great infantry weapon and an even better sniper rifle. 20 rounds of 7.62, plus Chuck Mawhinney got 16 headshots with this rifle and a starlight night scope in less than 30 seconds.

Favorite USMC Quotes

"From the time I touched that Remington 700, I was in love with it, I wanted to be a sniper. I'm gonna hunt something thats gonna hunt me back, Oh I love that."- Chuck Mawhinney- Most Confirmed kills in Marine Corps history, 103 with 216 probables.

"The sun glared off his lense of the scope I guess. I saw the glint, I shot it where the glint was... By looks of things, I was just the quickest on the trigger otherwise he would've killed me. How do I know he would've killed me? I shot right through his scope, right straight through his scope, didn't touch the sides and it didn't do his eyesight no good on that side either."- Carlos Hathcock- USMC scout sniper with 93 confired killed.

"The first guy I saw him pop up, slung the crosshairs over him, flipped the weapon onto kill, sent the round downrange... that hit its mark. It was just a pink mist."- Steve Reichert- USMC scout sniper, 1-mile killshot with Barret M82A3.

"We're surrounded... that simplifies the problem."- Lewis "Chesty" Puller- Most decorated Marine in history.

"Marines die, that's what we're here for. But the Marine Corps lives forever. And that means YOU live forever."- R. Lee Ermey from Full Metal Jacket.

"The deadliest weapon in the world is the Marine and his rifle."- R. Lee Ermey from Full Metal Jacket.

"For over 200 years our Corps has done two things for this great Nation. We make Marines, and we win battles." various Marines including Charles C. Krulak
