MTs255 is a Russian revolving shotgun, developed by TsKIB SOO. It appeared in 1993, but mass production did not begin until 2000. According to the available information, to 2008 (perhaps also earlier) its serial production was discontinued, and at this moment it is again available only by order. An experimental revolver known as the OTs-62 was developed from the MTs-255, made by removing the MTs-255's stock and replacing the barrel with a 200-mm one.
