The Bodyguard is a 1992 thriller starring Kevin Costner as Frank Farmer, a former Secret Service agent who now makes a living as a private bodyguard. Over the course of the film, Frank finds himself struggling with his feelings for his latest client, a pampered singer (the late Whitney Houston, who made her acting debut). The film was directed by Mick Jackson (Volcano) from a screenplay written by Lawrence Kasdan.
