Western Arms put out a limited edition replica (more or less) of the customized pistols used by the protagonist in this film. I stumbled on an image of them while trying to find a some good shots of the pistol in the live-action version of ''Crying Freeman''. M269 Launcher Loader Module (moved from main page)
A mocked up M269 Launcher Loader Module (weapon system from the M270 MLRS) can be seen on the roof of a human armored vehicle. The appears to be taken from the scenes of Godzilla (1998). It is not seen in the movie as released in theaters.
Compensators
Anyone have any idea what brand the compensators are on Selene's Berettas? I don't think they are custom made as they have been in another film but have done a lot of searching and have come up empty. --commando552 16:37, 15 November 2011 (CST)
- Having been in another film means nothing. They could be custom and this film just got the same weapons from the armorer who did the previous film. Of course I always cringe when that despicable PROPSTORE OF LONDON destroys the guns (renders them unfireable) and sells them to the movie memorabilia collecting public after each and every major action movie now..... :( MoviePropMaster2008 23:40, 15 November 2011 (CST)
- I assumed it wasn't physically the same custom built prop, as the other film it appeared in was 15 years ago, was on a different gun, and there was only one of them as opposed to the pair in this film. --commando552 03:47, 16 November 2011 (CST)

Hinds
Saw a trailer for this earlier this evening and caught sight of a 3-ship formation of Mi-24 Hinds, but couldn't tell if they were Delta, Echo, or Foxtrot model, so don't know which gun they have on them (Delta has the Yakushev-Borzov Yak-B, Echo has the Gryazev-Shipunov GSh-23, and Foxtrot has the Gryazev-Shipunov GSh-30-2). STI GP6
I just saw the movie, the visual mockup simply appears to be added to make them look more "futuristic" as the gun functions like a standard pistol, and fires the same type of ammo the vampire and lycans used in standard handguns in the prior movies. Also, apparently, 12 years in the future many handguns are machine pistols, as Selene fires both this gun and the dual Berettas in full-auto. DKS01 19:27, 24 January 2012 (CST)
They seemed semi-auto when I saw the movie. In the van scene it may have been full-auto, or she was pulling the trigger realy fast.--Mandolin 21:04, 17 February 2012 (CST)
- In the van they were firing as fast as her Berettas were, with the same report. Pretty sure they were meant to be auto(and the sound editor seems to agree). DKS01 22:01, 17 February 2012 (CST)
