The following guns were used in the movie Needful Things
Handguns
Beretta 92FS
Sheriff Alan Pangborn (Ed Harris) carries a Beretta 92FS as his duty sidearm. He uses it prominently in the final scenes of the movie in order to restore order.
Llama IX-A
What appears to be a Llama IX-A 1911-style pistol is seen being pulled on Pangborn by Brian Rusk (Shane Meier). This gun is also brandished by "Buster" (J.T. Walsh). The pistol has been bright chrome-plated, though some of the controls such as the extractor and the hammer, appear to remain blued.
Dan Wesson Model 15-2 VH
Deputy Sheriff Norris Ridgewick (Ray McKinnon) brandishes a Dan Wesson Model 15-2 VH revolver to threaten "Buster" (J.T. Walsh). Trivia: McKinnon's future wife, Lisa Blount, appeared in the film (uncredited) as Cora Rusk. The two married in 1998, five years later.
Colt Single Action Army
What appears to be two Colt Single Action Army revolvers can be briefly seen on the wall in Leland's office. They are hard to spot, so they could also be two Colt 1860 Army revolvers.
Rifles
Ruger M77
A bolt-action rifle with stainless steel finish, a black polymer stock and equipped with a night-vision scope is used by "Buster" to shoot at Sheriff Pangborn in the final scenes. The same gun appears to be at Leland's on the desk. It is possible that the rifle is a Ruger M77.
M16 variant
What appears to be an M16 variant, possibly an M16A1, can be seen on the desk, on the left side.
Shotguns
Mossberg 500
Sheriff Alan Pangborn (Ed Harris) retrieves a Mossberg 500 from his car while the riot is taking place.
Smith & Wesson 3000
Hugh Priest (Duncan Fraser) is given a Smith & Wesson 3000 Shotgun by Leland Gaunt (Max von Sydow), which he later uses to kill the bar owner.
Double-Barreled side-by-side shotgun
The bar owner brandishes a double-barreled side-by-side shotgun when Hugh enters the bar armed.
Machine Guns
M60
What appears to be a M60 machine gun can be briefly seen in the background when Gaunt gives Hugh the shotgun.
