The Rock's holster is a Safairland Model 002 "Cup Challenge" Competition Holster mounted onto a thigh rig with molle attachments. You get a good look at it during the ambush scene when he gets out of the armored vehicle

How did anyone think the M14 had the Aimpoint Comp M3 and swivel mount 3x magnifier? It's very obviously got a scope of some sort. The agent with the M4/M203 has an EOTech and 3x magnifier, but none of the DSS team have Aimpoint sight.--Mandolin 10:03, 6 October 2011 (CDT)

Gisele's "Gangsta" draw
As i recall reading, somewhere, i believe it was in Colonel Jeff Cooper's Gargantuan Gunsite Gossip, he talks about how the Israeli's do a "flat" draw, like Gisele does in the movie, apparently done because as we know, the Israeli's, especially Mossad, teach to carry Condition 3, ie, no round in the chamber, and therefore need to rack the slide to ready the gun for combat, and as such decided that it was easier to do so, while drawing the gun flat, with a 90 degree angle.
Not sure if that was the intention of the director but, it seems logical, that she, being former Mossad, is doing as she was trained.
According to her Wikipedia page, Gal Gadot, who plays Gisele Yashar, served in the Israeli Army, before being a model, and took part in a photoshoot that featured models who had previously served. That might give a lot more insight into her useage of the Israeli made Jericho and her particular grip and draw of it in the movie.

:I checked that page, and it doesn't say anything. I'm also not sure that it's relevant, because this was an American production with American armorers, and armorers do not always choose the correct weapon for non-U.S. police forces. If I had to guess, this weapon is most likely a Colt 6721 (AR-15 A3 HBAR carbine), given that it doesn't have a stepped barrel like the Colt 6920 (the LE Carbine, and Colt's main 16" M4 look-a-like). It also seems to have an LMT A2-style rear sight. -MT2008 (talk) 01:46, 1 May 2023 (UTC)
::Do you think you can make an ID on this rifle?--DJBrimstorm (talk) 03:10, 1 May 2023 (UTC)
:::Without being able to see the barrel profile (under the handguards), I can't make a 100% ID. If the barrel is a 16" Government profile barrel, it would be a Colt Model 6720 (which was also sold with a lightweight-profile barrel). If the barrel is a 16" Heavy-profile (HBAR) barrel, then it would be the Colt Model 6721. Externally, the Colt 6720 and 6721 are difficult to tell apart - the barrel profile under the handguards is the only real difference between the two guns. -MT2008 (talk) 15:50, 5 May 2023 (UTC)

Vin's shotgun looks more like a Mossberg 590, if you look at the magazine tube and the shape of the trigger guard. It's clearer in the high resolution photo. ZombieKiller 09:45, 16 December 2010 (UTC)

M134 Minigun

Though the weapon is obviously chopped the set up seems to be similar to the one you see in the Dillon Aero publicity videos where one of their miniguns is set up inside a Suburban. --Charon68 19:01, 18 December 2010 (UTC)

Superbowl Trailer

I can't screencap it, but in the trailer they showed during the Super Bowl Hobbs was shown using an M4A1 with an underbarrel M26 SASS DeltaOne 05:42, 8 February 2011 (UTC)

Rock's vest

make and model of his tactical vest

(A little Google wouldn't have hurt) Looks to be one of the Blackhawk! S.T.R.I.K.E. models. And sign your posts. DeltaOne 04:55, 1 May 2011 (CDT) Google is of no help pas well as some of the military forums I frequent

Another question about the Rock's gear. I can't seem to figure out the make and model of his thigh holster. I have looked around some sites but found nothing that matches.--Westernman1987 14:15, 12 May 2011 (CDT)

M-14

During the Ambush of Hobb's convoy, is it just me, or did the M14 seem to be going rock n' roll? I thought I saw full auto muzzle flash from it. --Charon68 21:15, 22 August 2011 (CDT)

Tadaa! You can make pictures appear correctly by changing the the px by 1 or so. After the picture has updated itself, you can turn it back. --Warejaws 17:05, 29 September 2011 (CDT)
That did the trick. Thanks for the suggestion!--Markit 19:45, 29 September 2011 (CDT)
It's possible that the M-14 was going full auto. It was a select-fire rifle. DeltaOne 17:58, 29 September 2011 (CDT)

I dont see a selector switch on this particular gun, maybe it was modified for full auto fire for the movie?

Possible Ithaca Auto & Burglar?

When the crew holds up Reyes first cash house, does the doorman carry an Ithaca Auto & Burglar? I'd get a screen of it, but the shot is rather poorly lit, and i'm terrible at doing screens. The Kaptain 22:00, 9 April 2012 (CDT)

M26 MASS

When exactly does Dwayne Johnson use his MASS in the film? I've watched the movie several times specifically watching for it and I've never seen him fire it, and yet every time I edit this page to reflect that, someone changes it back. Could somebody point the scene out to me? Or better yet, upload an image of him actually using it?--Leigh Burne 06:16, 2 May 2012 (CDT)
