M60

The M60 machine gun appears in game as the standard general purpose machine gun of the U.S. Army. It is fed by 100-round belts, but firing it too quickly can overheat it easily. An upgraded version called the "Death Machine" comes with a large backpack (that apparently grants the MG a 1,000-round capacity) with a feed chute attached to it and the gun. This variant is less prone to overheating.
