== Springfield Armory Mil-Spec M1911A1? ==
Is anyone sure of the specific model of the other Springfield Armory 1911 used that has the accessory rail and the three-hole trigger? According to SA themselves, the Mil-Spec (being a GI model) doesn't have the option of coming with an accessory rail. A mocked-up rail, perhaps?
If you enlarge the following screen, here you can easily see the "Springfield Armory" markings, the accessory rail, and the three-hole trigger all in one shot.

According to this site the weapon is chambered in 9mm and not the more expected .45ACP. This makes sense if you carefully look at bore diameter in shots in the film and the CGI bullets shot in slow motion appear to be 9mm.  https://propstore.com/product/resident-evil-2002/alices-milla-jovovich-stunt-pistol/

(Note: I don't think it's a Remington 870. The sights are all wrong and the tubes look more like a 20 gauge than a 12 gauge. I think it's the same 20 gauge shotgun used in by the corrupt DEA agents in Leon (The Professional) but I'm not sure what make & model it is.)

Winchester 1300 with extended magazine tube and tactical front sight. P.S. Sights are poor way to identify any shotgun, they make many different sights for many shotguns including the 870 and sights like those are made for an 870. And they make Remington 870s in 20 gauge as well.

Winchester 1300 12 gauge with extended magazine tube.

I corrected the shotgun section on the page, and moved your discussion onto the talk page. Thanks very much for the correction.--Alienqueen11 22:37, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

It's a 12gauge high-standard riot shotgun , when she grabs the shotgun from the police car you can see the words RIOT HIGH-STA when the camera gets a closeup from in the car. - gunnut1988

I think you're right. It looks like a Hi-Standard K-200 20 gauge riot/self defense shotgun with rifle sights. Unfortunately I don't have one to photograph nor does anyone else I know. Milla has small hands and that barrel looks tiny. MoviePropMaster2008 18:43, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
'((EDIT)) I changed it to the K-120 shotgun. I looked at both the K-200 and the K-120 and compared it to the screencap and the shotgun is the K-120. I apologize. I was wrong initially when I stated that I thought it was a 20 gauge. the high Standard shotguns have an unusually large gap between their barrel and magazine tube. the K-200 has a MUCH smaller barrel than what Milla is holding. So I fixed it. Sorry folks for my initial mistake. 'MoviePropMaster2008 09:00, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
I don't think this is a Python. Kaplan's revolver is too small and the cylinder is non fluted. Other than that I don't know what it is. MPM2008
It's also a five shot revolver, when he unloads it before he commits "suicide" you can see 5 bullets and 5 chambers.:
I've been waiting for someone to notice this, I don't believe it's a Colt Python anymore either. If I get the chance I'll try to get more shots of it so we can determine what it really is. Alienqueen11

Is it possible for it to be a stainless steel Smith & Wesson Chief's Special .38? It looks the right size, just a longer barrel

The revolver is a TAURUS Model 431 .44 special- gunnut1988

what point of having a assault rifle with out a stocks? Rex095

It essentially makes them into really big machine pistols. And it looks kinda' cool on camera.--PistolJunkie 07:59, 12 December 2009 (UTC)

mp5ks

Can anyone help me identify the accessories on the mp5ks carried in this movie. i cant work out what the box near the rear of the guns are. the only things i can think of are either laser pointers or a battery pack for the scopes. anyway, some help in identify the modifications would be much appreciated? anon

I don't think that is an accessory rail, the bottom of the frame is normal. It looks like a piece of metal attached onto the side of the frame for some unknown (to me) reason. In the shot below you can see that the piece of metal actually sticks out from the side of the frame, covering part of the slide from that viewing angle:
