Convoy is a 1978 trucker film directed by Sam Peckinpah and stars Kris Kristofferson as a renegade truck driver who butts heads with a corrupt sheriff (Ernest Borgnine). The feature was one of the last films to be directed by Peckinpah before his death in 1984, although at this point, Peckinpah was dealing with a deep struggle with drug addiction, leading to much of the film being actually directed by his friend and Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid star James Coburn.
