Checkpoint (Russian Title: Blokpost/Блокпост) is a 1998 Russian war film directed by Aleksandr Rogozhkin about a group of soldiers stationed at an isolated checkpoint somewhere in the North Caucasus. As the movie progresses, the soldiers battle boredom, hostile locals, and a mysterious sniper.

Rifles
AK-74M
The AK-74M rifle is the main weapon for most of the Russian Army soldiers. A distraught female villager also fires one after seizing it from a soldier, as do several male locals after they pass the checkpoint.
SVD Dragunov
The SVD Dragunov is used by several characters in the film, including Professor (Kirill Ulyanov) and Bones (Roman Romantsov).
SVU Dragunov
Masha (Anastasia Razhuk) uses an SVU Dragunov.
