== Grips ==
When I first started the page, I was convinced that Hammer's SW629 had plastic grips. First, they looked a bit glossy, I always thought ivory was a bit more matte. Second, the gun gets abused a lot on the show, since no one ever gets shot, guns get shot out of hands, and I don't think they use rubber guns for that. But as I go through the first season, I can't help but notice that the grips are now a little more yellowed, like ivory. Does anyone know if white plastic grips yellow? (I presume they do clean the gun regularly, so it's not just grime.) --[[User:Funkychinaman|Funkychinaman]] 11:55, 9 November 2011 (CST)

Mrs. Emily Carstairs ([[Sarah Douglas]]) uses an unknown revolver to shoot her lawyer in "Play It Again Sledge" (S02E03). Grips

Taurus Model 689 Stainless Steel revolver - .357 Magnum.
- Mr. Wolf 20:19, 24 November 2011 (CST)
It can't be a Taurus 689. This episode aired in October of 1987, and the 689 didn't enter production until 1988. --Funkychinaman 03:02, 25 January 2012 (CST)
I want to say Rossi 851, but according to the page, that didn't start production until 1991. Are we sure about that? --Funkychinaman 11:45, 2 August 2012 (CDT)

Could be a garden flame torch with a pistol grip added, I guess. The second image seems to have the muzzle angled towards the ground, which would be rather more useful for killing weeds than killing mans. Evil Tim 01:45, 3 August 2012 (CDT)
