I was in the Royal Navy, but am now a policeman. The Minigun thing was a pretty rare circumstance while doing anti-piracy operations, where a suspicions boat kept coming a bit too close to the ship for comfort. Normally the Lynx would have dealt with it but he was off doing his own thing, so fired a quick burst to the side of them to shoo them off. It has occurred a few times as far as I'm aware, HMS Iron Duke did the same thing earlier this year to a suspect speedboat off of Bahrain.  --[[User:Commando552|commando552]] 17:09, 18 November 2011 (CST)

RE:Curious here

I was in the Royal Navy, but am now a policeman. The Minigun thing was a pretty rare circumstance while doing anti-piracy operations, where a suspicions boat kept coming a bit too close to the ship for comfort. Normally the Lynx would have dealt with it but he was off doing his own thing, so fired a quick burst to the side of them to shoo them off. It has occurred a few times as far as I'm aware, HMS Iron Duke did the same thing earlier this year to a suspect speedboat off of Bahrain. --commando552 17:09, 18 November 2011 (CST)
