It's best to get your screencaps from an official DVD or Blu-ray source. If you're going to use Youtube, make sure there's HD resolution (720p) or higher. A good program to use that grabs images off your computer screen is Fast Stone Image Viewer. It's a free program. For DVD's or media files, VLC player is excellent and free. You're not going to save that much space by only uploading a portion, so it's best to just do the entire frame. --Ben41 22:55, 6 May 2012 (CDT)

I'd love to help you, but I don't have the Cartel at all. I've played it, but I'm afraid I don't have a copy. I only have the original Call of Juarez and Call of Juarez: Bound In Blood. Sorry. I'm planning on buying a copy the next time I'm anywhere near Gamestop. I may be able to help you then.

As far as I can tell, the idea of what's going on in the game depends on the ending you choose:
- In the "redemption" ending, Silas started making things up as he went on to try to make Ben slip up and confirm who he is.
- In the "revenge" ending, Silas has gone insane in his quest for revenge and actually believes he did all of the things he says.
It's pretty obvious that in neither ending are the later events supposed to have actually happened. Also there's a fair few events which only make sense if the game is Dwight imagining the story Silas is telling, like when other people start telling the story or the part where Silas goes to the bathroom and nothing happens until he returns, as well as certain things not appearing until Silas mentions them. It also means it makes sense that every town in the game looks like the one Dwight's familiar with, and explains the look of the game, since it's established that Dwight is a big fan of dime novels.
Also also, when I said it's unclear what the mare's leg is for, I meant in the game, not in real life. Evil Tim (talk) 02:28, 14 December 2016 (EST)

uploads
Why are you uploading those images? Many we already have on file. --Predator20 20:38, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
oops. Sorry. I didn't know what all you guys have. I also thought it could broaden things up instead of having the same picture of a gun for eveything.
- Images that aren't needed take up server space. Not much point in having two pics of the same gun. Also the images could be copyrighted. Use the images we already have. --Predator20 23:56, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
Section Formatting
Some of your Civ IV sections are improperly formatted. When you make a listing for a gun a page, you want to format it with the description (link included) first, then the stock weapon image (make sure you copy the weapon's name/description and caliber below the image as well), then the screencaps. Look at how I formatted the M870 listing on the Trophy Hunter 2003 page. You should also add the title and date below the cover image and use __TOC__<br clear="all"> before the first weapon listing. Also, look at the lead-in sentence on most high-quality pages; they're usually bolded and go something like The following firearms were used in the movie/television series/anime/game Italicized Title: If you're ever unsure as to how to format a page or link, feel free to jack coding from any of the pages that I've made.--PistolJunkie 22:22, 28 March 2011 (CDT)
Thanks for the info, I'll try to fix the Civ page up as soon as I can. EDIT: Got the Links, and formatting done. I'll add Screencaps, and fix up the Stock weapon pics to include the names when I get back from school. User:1morey March 29, 2011 6:49 (EST)
Razorback
Please crop out the black spaces in your screenshots before you upload. Also, please check your media player because the screenshots appear to be very low quality. --Ben41 00:07, 2 July 2011 (CDT)
Re: Call of Juarez: The Cartel
Whoa, a S&W 5906 in a video game! That's new. And I like it! Unfortunately, I only own a PC so I will have to wait *sad face* And no AA-12, shit. *another sad face* - bozitojugg3rn4ut 02:04, 18 July 2011 (CDT)
Courageous
Pretty good job with the page, just to let you know the majority of Glocks that are seen used in films is the Glock 17. The Glock 18 is a full-auto handgun that's distinguished by its selector switch located at the back of the slide. Unless the handgun is seen firing on full-auto, it's probably not going to be that particular model. --Ben41 23:55, 2 October 2011 (CDT)
The pages
Well I will get to Fallout 3 eventually, but most of the guns in Turok are not even remotely of real guns. They might look like real guns, but they are not and no hybrid guns that's one part something and another part something else. Excalibur01 21:34, 7 October 2011 (CDT)
re: Call of Juarez revolver
I think you are right but you should ask someone who knows more about western-era revolvers, 'cause I am not really interested in these kinds of handguns. Add a topic to the CoJ talk page and someone will respont probably. Meanwhile I will try to get a screenshot of the revolver on the ground to see better what it is. - bozitojugg3rn4ut 05:22, 11 October 2011 (CDT)
- Here's the image I promised. The gun is a terribly modeled Walker after all.
