Mission Statement
My name is Bravo Foxtrot. A lot of people have a hard-on against users with redlinked user-pages, as they consider a US military style "I Love Me" wall listing one's online "accomplishments" and "achievements" to be a standard identification for a legitimate, long-term user of the IMFDB, with the lack of such a page worthy of suspicion at best and immediate reversion at worst.
I could not disagree more, but I include this page for no other reason than to remove the redlink from my name and thus hopefully avoid getting reverted every time I add an in-article link to Wikipedia, which has a large and perfectly viable database of weapons information that every IMFDB user and reader should scrutinize if they actually value the real life data behind the weapons systems they chronicle here.
I came here because so many movies and TV shows use weapons as interchangeable, meaningless props without any idea that they will be recognized, organized and preserved for posterity. They are not; they exist in real life as the penultimate tools of individual human defense and offense, and thus should be treated as such. This is a place to share information on small arms as portrayed--either accurately or inaccurately--in various media formats. Please conduct your interactions with me with this fact in mind.
