Game of Death is a Hong Kong martial arts movie starring Bruce Lee. Lee started working on the movie in 1972, however he got an offer to star in Enter the Dragon, so he stopped working on this, and although he intended to finish the movie, he died suddenly in 1973. The movie was finished in 1978 by Robert Clouse (the director of Enter the Dragon) using the footage which Lee shot in 1972, and using a look-alike for the other scenes. It should be noted however, that the story of the finished movie is different from the original story written by Bruce Lee.
In the movie Bruce Lee is Billy Lo, an actor who becomes the target of the mob after he refuses a contract. After an attempt on his life Billy fakes his death (using actual footage of Bruce Lee's funeral) and goes to Macau to get the head of the mobsters, Dr. Land (Dean Jagger).
The following guns can be seen in the movie The Game of Death:
Smith & Wesson Model 19
Stick (Mel Novak) tries to kill Billy during the shooting of a scene with a Smith & Wesson Model 19.
Smith & Wesson Model 60
Ann (Colleen Camp) has a Smith & Wesson Model 60 in her bag when she tells Jim (Gig Young) on the phone that she'll kill Dr. Land. Later, Jim takes the gun away from her. When Ann is at the martial arts tournament in Macau, she pulls out the Model 60 to kill Dr. Land and Stick, but Billy, who is disguised as an old man prevents her from doing it.
Arisaka Type 99
Some of the extras carry Arisaka rifles at the shooting of the movie, when Stick tries to kill Billy.
Winchester Model 70
Stick tries to kill Billy at on point with a Winchester 70 rifle, but misses. Billy than takes the rifle away from him and beats him up.
Unknown pistol
Steiner (Hugh O'Brian) shoots at with an unknown type of pistol the disguised Billy (who is played at this point by Tai Chung Kim instead of Bruce Lee) when Billy tries to kill Land.
