The '''No. 74 Anti-Tank Grenade S.T. "Sticky Bomb"''' was used by the Commonwealth Forces in WW2. The grenade used a time fuze with a 5 seconds delay. There are two variants of this grenade. The body of the Mk. I grenade was made of glass, whereas the body of the Mk. II was made of bakelite. The body was covered with a sock which was coated with birdlime. This helped to stick the grenade onto the desired target: unfortunately, it could also help the grenade stick to undesired targets, such as the soldier's own uniform. The most visible difference between the models is how the handle is screwed into the body. The Mk. I has outer threads on the body to screw the handle '''ONTO''', whereas the Mk. II has inner threads in the body to screw the handle '''INTO'''. This can be used for easy identification.

The No. 74 Anti-Tank Grenade S.T. "Sticky Bomb" was used by the Commonwealth Forces in WW2. The Mk. I has outer threads on the body to screw the handle ONTO, whereas the Mk. II has inner threads in the body to screw the handle INTO. This can be used for easy identification.
