Waltz with Bashir is a 2008 Israeli animated documentary film about the Sabra and Shatila massacre during the 1982 Lebanon War. Written and directed by Ari Folman, it follows him as he interviews former comrades in an attempt to discover long-lost memories of the conflict. As it's a documentary, most of the characters are voiced by themselves. Galil ARM
In the film, most of the IDF (Israel Defense Force) soldiers are armed with the Galil ARM, the light machine gun variant of the Galil family.
AK-47
The weapon used by Palestinian rebels and Christian Phalangists is the infamous AK-47.
M21 Sniper Rifle
A silenced version of the M21 Sniper Rifle is used by IDF soldier Boaz Rein-Buskila to eliminate guard dogs.
Machine Guns
FN MAG
The FN MAG 58 is the main machine gun of the IDF in the movie. It is also seen mounted on Merkeva Main Battle Tanks and M113 Armored Personnel Carriers.
Browning M2HB
The Browning M2HB is mounted on the Merkeva Main Battle Tanks and M113 Armored Personnel Carriers. Ari Folman operates one when transporting wounded to the medevac zones.
Rocket Launchers
M72A2 LAW
Several of the IDF soldiers patrolling in the Lebanon woods carry M72A2 LAW on their packs.
RPG-7
The RPG-7 is used by Palestinian child soldiers to attack an M113 APC and patrolling IDF soldiers. An IDF soldier also uses one to destroy a Lebanese civilians car.
