Heckler & Koch USP40
Handguns
The primary handgun of the game is a H&K USP chambered for .40 S&W. In-game it is called the Rakow AT-14 and can be dual wielded. It is incorrectly depicted as having a magazine capacity of 18 rounds instead of 13 or 16 like the real USP40, only the 9mm version using magazines with H&K's extended floor-plates can hold 18 rounds. Another oddity is that it's modeled with a tall target front sight and the standard height rear sight. Finally, the textures of the weapon are modeled after a USP chambered for .45 ACP, but pre-release media indicates they it is, indeed, chambered for .40 S&W.

The Heckler & Koch USP appears as the "Rakow AT-14", and can be dual wielded. While it is stated in pre-release media as being chambered in .40 S&W, it is actually modelled after the .45 ACP version. It is incorrectly depicted as having a magazine capacity of 18 rounds instead of 13 like the real USP40 or 12 for the .45 version; only the 9mm "Jet-funnel" compatible magazines can hold 18 rounds. Another oddity is that it's modeled with a tall target front sight and the standard height rear sight. Even more strangely, when wielding two, the player appears to release the magazines by pressing down on the slide releases or safeties, suggesting Monolith thought these were magazine releases.

Olympic Arms OA-93
Submachine Guns
This AR-15-based subcompact weapon makes an appearance in the Xbox 360 version of the F.E.A.R. series as the SM15 Machine Pistol, however the handguard and rail along the top of the weapon bear a striking similarity to the Heckler & Koch HK416. The animations for the SM15 are identical to the AT-14.

A rather deformed Heckler & Koch MP5A3 is featured in-game as the "Sumak RPL Sub-Machinegun". It features an unusable mounted holographic sight and an also unusable dedicated forend weaponlight. It fires in full-auto with a very fast rate of fire, but if the weapon is tap-fired it will fire a 3-round burst. The primary sub-machine gun of the game. Mostly based off of the Special Weapons MP-10, with some elements from the H&K MP5A3 mixed in. In-game it features a mounted holographic sight and a dedicated forend weaponlight. It is called Sumak RPL in the game.

Heckler & Koch SL8
A heavily modified SL8 sporting rifle makes it into the game. It is the primary assault rifle of the game; it is fully automatic, with a tiny double-drum magazine (both in terms of size and capacity, holding only 45 rounds), and an M14-style rear aperture sight.
The "Rakow G2A2" is a heavily modified Heckler & Koch SL8 and is featured the standard assault rifle. Similarly to the RPL, the Rakow G2A2 fires on full-auto, but can fire a 3-round burst when tap-fired. It is loaded with a (rather tiny) Beta-C magazine, but holds only 45 rounds instead of 100 rounds like the real Beta-C.
Ingame it is called the Rakow G2A2.

IMI Tavor TAR-21
An IMI Tavor TAR-21 makes an appearance in the game. It utilizes a 3X scope, and is restricted to 3-round burst fire.
The IMI Tavor TAR-21 is another assault rifle in-game, and is known as the "Baksha ASP". The weapon fires only in 3-round bursts (although the sound effect is of a 5-round burst), utilizing a 3x scope modeled after the JGBG M7 scope, and is identified in outside material as firing 7.62x51mm NATO, a round for which no TAR-21 variant would exist until 2018. In Perseus Mandate, the ASP is the primary firearm of the FEAR team's Delta Force allies, likely to give them a better chance against more powerful Replica enemies.
Called the Baksha ASP Rifle in the game.

"SM15 Machine Pistol"
The "SM15 Machine Pistol" is a "handgun" (actually a stockless carbine) exclusive to the Xbox 360 version of the game, and is a stockless AR-15 variant; it is the only weapon aside from the USP that can be dual-wielded. The SM15's animations are identical to the USP in the original release, though F.E.A.R. Files gives the single SM15 the same animations as the RPL which, due to odd placement of the model in the player character's hands, means that aiming the weapon causes the actual point of aim to be blocked off by part of the barrel.

The Vector Engineering Systems V7 Advanced Rifle is exclusive to the expansion pack Perseus Mandate, taking over for the Rakow G2A2 as the basic fully-automatic rifle, depicted as standard issue rifle for the Nightcrawler mercenary army. The weapon appears to take some influence from the Heckler & Koch G36C (mainly in the top half of the foregrip, the upper receiver, and the carrying rail), utilizing a magnifying night-vision scope, and bears a magazine resembling the 20-round version of the AR-15's STANAG magazine, albeit flattened on the bottom.

Franchi SPAS-12
The Franchi SPAS-12 has an unrealistic 12-shell magazine capacity rather than it's real counterpart's 8. Fans of the Gibbing system will find this gun to their likes. In F.E.A.R. it is called the Vollmer VK-12.
The Franchi SPAS-12 is the standard shotgun in the game, and is referred to as the "Vollmer VK-12", used exclusively in pump-action mode. The weapon is loaded with 12 shells instead of 8 shells like the real SPAS-12. Fans of the gibbing system will find this gun to their liking, as close-range shots are almost guaranteed to mangle an enemy.

Armsel Protecta
"Watson Autoshotgun"
This shotgun makes it into the PS3 Version of F.E.A.R., as well as the Xbox 360 Version of F.E.A.R. Files. The weapon is refered to as the Watson Autoshotgun, but its name isn't the only thing that's been changed; The weapon has been upgraded a removable drum substituting the integrated one, an AR-15-style telescoping stock, and some strange rear-sight assembly. It is also the only weapon here never used by the Point Man (Both Perseus Mandate and the PS3 bonus mission are not from the Point Man's perspective, and the instant action maps are, technically, non-canon).
The Watson Autoshotgun, also referred to as the Watson SAS 12, is exclusive to the PS3 version of F.E.A.R. and the Xbox 360 version of F.E.A.R. Files, modeled after a heavily modified Armsel Striker variant, featuring a removable drum substituting the integrated one, a large laser sight, and aesthetic elements similar to the Milkor MGL.

Dillon Aero M134 Minigun
While the resemblance is only slight (mainly in the top half of the foregrip, the upper receiver, and the carrying rail), the HK G36C makes it into the second F.E.A.R. expansion, Perseus Mandate, as the Vector Engineering Systems V7 Advanced Rifle, the standard issue rifle for the Nightcrawler Mercenary Army, and replaces the G2A2 as the player's primary automatic weapon. It utilizes a magnifying night-vision scope, and bears a magazine resembling the 20-round version of the AR-15's STANAG magazine, albeit flattened on the bottom.
Some of the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters used by the 1st SFOD-D are seen armed with Dillon Aero M134 Miniguns; it also appears to be incorrectly mounted on Replica Mil Mi-24s in place of the proper Yakushev-Borzov Yak-B. It should be noted that the only time the Miniguns were seen in action was during the E3 2004 demo mission, used by Lieutenant Spencer "Spen" Jankowski and a SFOD-D operator. In the expansions it is mostly replaced by the fictional man-portable TG-2A.

F.E.A.R.: Perseus Mandate (2007)

F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon) is a horror-themed first-person shooter developed by Monolith and published by Vivendi/Sierra in 2005. Two expansions, Extraction Point and Perseus Mandate, were released on 2006 and 2007 respectively. A sequel followed in 2009, titled F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin. The player assumes the role of the Point Man, a member of the F.E.A.R. team who possesses superhuman reflexes. The story revolves around Paxton Fettel, who has taken control of a battalion of clone super-soldiers called "Replica" soldiers. The members of F.E.A.R., in conjunction with 1st SFOD-D (Delta Force) must try to stop Fettel before it is too late.

The following weapons are featured in the video game F.E.A.R. and its expansions:

Handguns

Heckler & Koch USP

Submachine Guns

Heckler & Koch MP5A3

A rather deformed Heckler & Koch MP5A3 is featured in-game as the "Sumak RPL Sub-Machinegun". It features an unusable mounted holographic sight and an also unusable dedicated forend weaponlight. It fires in full-auto with a very fast rate of fire, but if the weapon is tap-fired it will fire a 3-round burst. In early stages of the game, the Sumak RPL was fitted with a usable scope rather than the holographic sight.

Rifles

Heckler & Koch SL8

The "Rakow G2A2" is a heavily modified Heckler & Koch SL8 and is featured the standard assault rifle. Similarly to the RPL, the Rakow G2A2 fires on full-auto, but can fire a 3-round burst when tap-fired. It is loaded with a (rather tiny) Beta-C magazine, but holds only 45 rounds instead of 100 rounds like the real Beta-C.

"Vector Engineering Systems V7 Advanced Rifle"

Shotguns

Franchi SPAS-12

The Franchi SPAS-12 is the standard shotgun in the game, and is referred to as the "Vollmer VK-12", used exclusively in pump-action mode. The weapon is loaded with 12 shells instead of 8 shells like the real SPAS-12.
