It was a dare

One of our frequent contributers didn't think I would make this page. Well here it is. And the use of the Luger is more legitimate than making a page for a movie becasue there are firearms hanging on a wall behind an actor. LOL. --Jcordell 23:19, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

Dude...dude!!!--Charon68 23:38, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

I know, but it was a dare. And now we have the Sound of Music on imfdb. So nobody can say we aren't fair. --Jcordell 23:41, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

Nothing to be ashamed of here. It's a great movie. Robert Wise directed, it won a billion awards, and it has Nazis as bad guys. What else can you ask for? --funkychinaman 02:54, 13 February 2011 (UTC)
Of course you've gone and done it. Now if a Gun shows up in GLEE, people can make a page for it. If a Gun shows up in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, someone can make a page for it. YOu just made me throw up in my mouth a little.........

Okay, hand it OVER Checkman! MoviePropMaster2008 02:44, 13 February 2011 (UTC)

But...I mean...DUDE!!! --Charon68 05:29, 13 February 2011 (UTC)

I don't think you will need to worry about GLEE or Suite Life showing up on here MoviePropMaster2008. After all, one TV show is manufactured by Disney and is targeted for today's child audience, so it wouldn't make sense for a gun to appear in that show. And the other show is a piss-poor musical that completely destroys classic songs with their modern 'revisions', and I can't recall too many musicals (whether movies or TV shows) showcasing firearms. So I highly doubt we will ever see the day when a firearm appears in either one of those shows and thus warranting their own pages on here. I think both shows will run out of money like so many other pointless TV shows from the past long before a firearm appears in any one of those shows, and long before they will ever appear on this site. --ThatoneguyJosh 10:28, 13 February 2011 (UTC)

Ahh imfdb is alive with the sound of music. ROTFLMAO. I love this site. --Jcordell 14:21, 13 February 2011 (UTC)

I made a page for Moulin Rouge and you guys don't revoke my man card? --Swordfish941 11:36, 14 February 2011 (UTC)

Isn't there more than one gun in this movie?

Seriously, I recall several other German firearms appearing in this film besides the Luger P.08. I remember seeing at least several rifles that were being carried by the SS police when they go after the Von Trapp family. --ThatoneguyJosh 01:42, 30 March 2011 (CDT)

Couldn't get a good screencap. No details. Feel free to try though. The more the merrier. --Jcordell 13:14, 30 March 2011 (CDT)
