:The Winchester Model 70 would be fine as long as it was in .338 Winchester Magnum or even better the .375 H&H Magnum. Actually the Model 70 in .458 Winchester Magnum would probably do better. After that I would want a Weatherby rifle in either 340 Weatherby Magnum, 378 Weatherby Magnum or 460 Weatherby Magnum. I name those calibers because those were commercialy available in the mid seventies in the United States. The 37 and 45/46 magnums are used in Africa to take down Cape Buffalo, Elephants and Rhinos. They'd do the job against a gigantic grizzley. The .338 Winchester and .340 Weatherby have also been used in Africa against very large plains animals such as Impala and Kudu. Those suckers are huge. The .338 and .340 have also been used to take down dangerous African game such as leopards and lions. --[[User:Jcordell|Jcordell]] 19:25, 17 May 2011 (CDT) |

This looks more like an M1917 Enfield. --Funkychinaman 21:37, 16 April 2011 (CDT)
