How do you know it's the same 4506 from Street Kings. Did you work on the show? Also there seems to be some back forth between the Ruger P90 and K89. Was the P90 just used in the pilot?--Predator20 20:48, 12 April 2011 (CDT) | How do you know it's the same 4506 from Street Kings. Did you work on the show? It's awesome we have that now. Also, was that same gun also used in Street Kings? I was the armorer on a few of the shows you cover on this site so I'll post more stuff from time to time. Yes that 1911 was in "Street Kings". The Ruger thing went like this. Franzine used a P90 in the pilot. The Exec. Producer/Director liked the look of it. I am not a Ruger semi-auto handgun fan. He also directed the episode with Moosa so I used basically the same gun again. We usually have a lot more 9mm ammo than .45 on hand so we went with the P89 and hoped that he wouldn't notice or care about the difference.
:Was the custom engravings on the 4506 done especially for Street Kings? Or another show prior to this? From what I could see watching the film, it didn't seem like they utilized the special markings. Any idea who did the custom work on the 1911, or was it done in-house? Thanks. --Predator20 09:59, 13 April 2011 (CDT)
::Awesome, I appreciate the confirmation on Street Kings 1911. You've provided the answer to a mystery that had quite a few people on the 1911 forum stumped (when Street Kings came out, there were a lot of people on that forum who wanted to know what type of 1911 Keanu Reeves carried). And any other stuff you can tell about movies or TV shows you worked on is highly welcome. Also, thanks for the picture of the Dark Blue K9, too. How do you know it's the same 4506 from Street Kings. Did you work on the show? Also there seems to be some back forth between the Ruger P90 and K89. Was the P90 just used in the pilot?--Predator20 20:48, 12 April 2011 (CDT)
- Thanks so much for the picture of the Colt Series 80 used in Dark Blue and Chase! It's awesome we have that now. Also, was that same gun also used in Street Kings? It looks similar, and since you say that the 4506 from Dark Blue was used in Street Kings, it sounds like you worked on both shows. -MT2008 21:05, 12 April 2011 (CDT)

- Awesome, I appreciate the confirmation on Street Kings 1911. Regards, -MT2008 18:32, 13 April 2011 (CDT)
