The Missing is a 2003 Western drama directed by Ron Howard and starring Cate Blanchett as Magdalena Gilkeson, a single mother living in 19th century New Mexico whose daughter is kidnapped by renegade Apaches. Tommy Lee Jones co-stars as her estranged father Samuel, who, after living among the Apaches, reunites with his daughter in order to accompany her on the search.
